Interactive storytelling
A 2-in-1 storytelling followed by piñata making workshop, engaging in stories that focus on expressing emotions and well-being. This is a fantastic way to get children to talk about their feelings and is intended for children between 2 and 6, but all are welcome who would benefit from such amazing stories!
The colour monsterThis lovely book talks about identifying the emotions one might feel and putting them into jars based on their colours (i.e. yellow is happiness, red is anger, etc.). Once the story is complete, the children get to make their own colour monster piñata; they then get an activity booklet to work through that allows them to express and ‘put in jars’ what makes them feel the different emotions.

The WorrysaurusThe Worrysaurus is an enchanting book that follows a little dinosaur who starts worrying about rain ruining his picnic when there is nothing but blue skies; he works himself up but then remembers he packed things that made him happy and is able to ground himself again. Once the story is complete the children get to make their own dinosaur piñata; they then get an activity booklet to work through that allows them to express what worries them but also fill their own backpack with things that make them happy.
