The Colour monster

This is a workshop of two parts; in the first half we sing some songs and read ‘The Colour Monster’. This is a lovely book that talks about identifying the different emotions one might feel and putting them into jars based off their colours (i.e yellow is happiness, red is angry etc).

​Once the story is complete the children get to make their own colour monster piñata; they then get an activity booklet to work through that allows them to express and ‘put in jars’ what makes them feel the different emotions.
