BRINGING CREATIVE HEALTH TO OUR COMMUNITY
About Us

Designed with love.
Sweet Paper Creations is a small Latino not-for-profit that specialises in creative outlets. Created by a family duo and inspired by our own journey with mental health, we endeavoured to share our culture by selling handmade piñatas to fund community wellbeing activities.
Sweet Paper Creations started solely dabbling in piñatas, but has since evolved. Not only do we continue to use piñatas in our mental health work, but we also work alongside our volunteers who wish to share a craft that has benefited them with the community. We have since expanded into crochet workshops, lino-printing, and even bubble tea-making!
Our mission is simple: to build community through creative health and to empower others to grow in their career journey. Our team is predominantly made up of volunteers and those seeking work experience. Our team ethos is unique; we don’t just want workers -we want to help develop skills and confidence in our team so they can move on from Sweet Paper Creations, self-assured that they can be successful in their future endeavours. Whether that’s going back into their dream careers, starting their own businesses or trying something new.

Creative minds make creative businesses
Sweet Paper Creations started as a family duo. We were running around trying to fulfil every role, and being a not-for-profit business made it difficult to expand, but that's why we are so grateful to our team and all the volunteers who were with us, because without them, we wouldn't be able to do half the things we do now!
